This project in Uley, Gloucestershire, saw complete reconstruction of a residential driveway before the final surface was lay down, as the area was prone to flooding. Excavation was required followed by comprehensive drainage, new telephone ducts and watermains and then finally an overlay of Cotswolds chippings and a tarmaced entrance.

A leaking dam required repair and a solution was derived by our team that saw the need for steel piles to be pushed into the ground to a depth of between 3 and 4 meters. Concrete was then poured behind the steels, which was in turn topped with stone for effect. Once filled, the steelwork surrounding the dam completely disappear.

Aesthetics combined with practicality is another partnership of DE Spencers skills. Illustrated here is a fishing lake where the inlet to the lake has been made into a waterfall. Once landscaped, the whole area will blend together producing a beautiful area for quiet fishing.
